The Opportunity

As we continue to grow across the country, we're looking for an Area Manager to join our Victorian Stores.
n
You'll oversee new stores across your designated area in a hands‐on role that calls for strong people leadership, a genuine customer service ethos, and sharp attention to detail. Hours are primarily Monday to Friday, with weekend on‐call shared on a rotating roster with other managers.
n
You'll be set up with fuel and travel allowance, laptop, phone, and uniform - and backed by an honest, hardworking team that genuinely supports its people.
n
Engaging with, motivating and mentoring staff is a crucial part of this role. You must be an open, approachable and a fair leader.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
Lead and motivate a team of enthusiastic casual kiosk attendants, providing guidance, support & coaching to maximise their potential.
n
Schedule monthly rosters across kiosk using Deputy rostering platform whilst balancing employee needs, customer. demand & sales goals.
n




Ensure kiosks comply with Health and Safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards.
n
Ensure kiosks meet visual merchandising standards and reflect The Jerky Co brand image.
n
Establish and maintain a customer‐centric culture, ensuring exceptional service and enhancing customer loyalty.
n
Maintain effective communication with management and other retail locations to align with company goals and standards.

About You
n
Qualifications & Experience
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in retail management, food service management, or a similar leadership role
n
Sound knowledge of inventory control, merchandising, and financial reporting
n
Skills & Capabilities
n
Strong team leadership and people management
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Solid organisational and time management abilities
n
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
