About the Role
n
As an APS6 level Technical Advisor, you will provide specialist technical and clinical advice on complex and sensitive matters, supporting quality decision-making and consistent outcomes. Working within a collaborative and high-performing team, you will act as a trusted subject matter expert, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and contributing to policy and operational improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing specialised technical and clinical advice on complex participant matters.
n
Using a coaching and mentoring approach to support colleagues and build capability.
n
Advising on appropriate supports to help achieve positive participant outcomes.
n
Managing sensitive discussions relating to funding and support approvals.
n
Liaising with stakeholders, providers, delegates and internal teams to ensure consistency in decision-making.
n
Preparing high-quality written advice, reports and case documentation.
n
Supporting complex problem-solving, policy interpretation and operational decision-making.
n
Contributing to strategic initiatives, projects and continuous improvement activities.
n
Competitive pay rate of $***** per hour at APS 6 Level, including casual loading, providing you with financial stability and recognition for your expertise.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will hold qualifications in one of the following disciplines:

Occupational Therapy
n
Prosthetics and Orthotics
n
Speech Pathology
n
Physiotherapy
n
Psychology
n
Registered Nursing (eligible for AHPRA registration)
n
Social Work
n
Mental Health Practitioner
n
Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner
n
Medico-Legal Allied Health
n
Audiology
n
n
You will also demonstrate:

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in one of the specified disciplines.
n
Ability to obtain and maintain required pre-employment checks.
n
Willingness to undertake Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening requirements where applicable.
