About the role
n
We are currently looking for an experienced Specialist - Warehouse & Distribution to join our fantastic team based in our beautiful office at Kurri Kurri, NSW. This role is reporting to Lead - Warehouse & Distribution.
n
The successful candidate will coordinate warehouse & distribution activities, ensuring best practices in road and vessel transportations to lower cost, minimise safety and security risks, and reduce lead time in supply.
n
The role will work closely with the Business Management, Supply Chain, Transport Carriers and Manufacturing teams to be the trusted partner of choice for our customers.
n
What you will be doing
n
n
Execute the monthly plan working with Manufacturing teams, downstream businesses, and third parties dispatching requirements in a timely manner;
n
Help coordinate market intelligence and knowledge to establish industry-leading practices for safety improvements;
n
Plan and execute vessel import and export movements;
n
Work with the team to find improved efficiency and productivity of warehouse operations and processes;
n
Ensure compliance with regulations for products delivered to customers;
n
Work alongside internal and external teams to identify and promote efficiency improvements along the supply chain;
n




Ensure operational and site SAP system processes are effectively utilised to maintain efficient and timely inventory movements;
n
Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to Distribution and Warehouse personnel.

What you will bring
n
n
This role is ideally suited to individuals with at least 4 years of experience in transportation or warehouse operations;
n
Must hold or be able to pass relevant state and/or territory security checks required for certificates and/or licences to handle SSAN and/or explosive products;
n
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or any business-related;
n
Working knowledge of regulations relating to transportation and warehouse operations ideal;
n
