Job Description
Moranbah Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 21 September to 1 November ****. Based in regional Queensland, this is an chance to bring your rural and emergency nursing expertise to a busy healthcare setting. The role offers up to 80 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster of 8- and 12-hour shifts, with remuneration between AUD$***** and AUD$***** per hour.

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Demonstrated experience in rural nursing and emergency department practice
n
Proficiency with Queensland Health systems, including ieMR, FirstNet,



PowerChart, and HBCIS
n
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
n
Ability to work flexibly across rotating shifts and manage competing priorities
n
Experience within QLD Health or Mackay Health and Hospital Service is desirable
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
n
Post-graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or equivalent clinical experience in emergency settings
