About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator to join a busy operations team in Prestons on a 12-month mat leave contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in customer service, order processing, logistics, transport or supply chain who enjoys a fast-paced workplace and takes pride in delivering an excellent customer experience.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Operations & Customer Experience Lead, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, while coordinating logistics activities and supporting the warehouse and operations teams.
n
Your responsibilities will include
n
n
Processing customer orders and inbound purchase orders accurately and within required timeframes.
n
Monitoring orders through picking, packing, dispatch and delivery.
n
Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email.
n
Providing customers with updates on stock, dispatch and delivery ETAs.
n
Coordinating inbound container and truck bookings.
n
Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport providers and warehouse teams.
n
Creating consignments for daily dispatch across multiple carriers.
n
Following up carriers regarding deliveries, missing freight and delays.
n




Managing transit damage claims and required documentation.
n
Assisting with invoicing and billing queries.
n
Maintaining accurate order, booking and consignment records.
n
Working closely with warehouse and operations teams to resolve issues.
n

To be successful in this role, you will have
n
n
Previous experience in customer service, logistics, transport, supply chain or order management.
n
Strong administration and order processing skills.
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
Experience liaising with customers, suppliers and transport providers.
n
Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
n
A proactive, accountable and team-oriented approach.
n
Good computer and systems skills.
n
Experience within a warehouse, transport, 3PL or distribution environment will be highly regarded.
n
