Latitude Recruitment is proud to partner with Rural Northwest Health in seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Yarriambiack Lodge residential aged care facility at our Warracknabeal campus. Leading by example with well-developed professional, clinical and people management skills, the Nurse Unit Manager will ensure the care team provides secure and high-quality clinical care to residents in line with key guidelines and frameworks relevant to an aged care setting.

The successful candidate will have:
n
n
Relevant post-graduate training or education in aged care or acute medical nursing
n




Relevant post-graduate education in leadership and management, or plans to undertake
n
Demonstrated competence in leading and managing a team to deliver services that ensures safe, person-centered care
n
Knowledge of key guidelines and frameworks relevant to the role including, but not limited to, Safe Patient Care Act, Code Grey requirements, and Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
n
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
n
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage rosters and workforce needs
n
Adaptability to competing demands
n
Current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Check, or willingness to obtain
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
