The Role
n
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. Your daily responsibilities will include:
n
Assisting residents with daily living activities, including meal assistance and personal hygiene support.
n
Providing vital social and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being.
n
Communicating warmly and effectively with residents, families, and clinical staff.
n
What We Are Looking For
n
To succeed in this role, you will bring a kind, empathetic nature and a genuine passion to make a difference.
n
Qualifications & Requirements:
n
Education: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Support. (Current Nursing students who have completed their aged care placement are highly encouraged to apply!)
n
Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience working within an aged care facility.
n
Availability: Able to work a minimum of 3 days per week and travel across our Eastern Region homes (Camberwell, Kew, Doncaster).
n
Compliance: Valid Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC (Employee), and current First Aid/CPR certifications and Flu Vax
