About the role
n
We are seeking to appoint an Area Sales Manager, based in Townsville to join our dynamic Queensland sales team.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Develop and grow customer relationships across your territory
n
Work closely with customers to improve equipment reliability and reduce operating costs
n
Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking and cold calling activities
n
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients
n
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant industry regulations
n
Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer service delivery
n
Travel throughout your sales territory to carry out sales responsibilities
n

What we're looking for
n
n




A minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial sales role or technical sales role.
n
OR a minimum of 3 years' experience (in a non-sales role) with mechanical seals, rotating equipment or mining.
n
Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
n
Experience in mechanical seals, pumps, rotating equipment or mining would be highly regarded, but not essential
n
A relationship-focused approach with the ability to develop long-term customer partnerships
n
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Townsville region
n
Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own territory
n
Permanent residents and Australian citizens only, we are not looking to sponsor.
