Based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, MW Law provides legal services across a broad range of practice areas, including Property Law / Conveyancing, Will and Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, Part IV Claims, and Commercial Law.

The Opportunity
n
We are seeking a competent, personable and passionate lawyer with at least three (3) years' post qualification experience (PQE) or a suitably experienced Law Clerk to join our team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across a varied and interesting caseload while providing clients with practical, high quality legal services . In this role there is an emphasis on Property Law ( Conveyancing) ,Wills, Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration and potentially Family Law.

This position is suited to someone who is professional, punctual, client-focused and confident working both autonomously and as part of a supportive team.
n
About You
n
A successful candidate will have:
n
Current Australian Legal Practicing Certificate;
n
Valid Victorian Drivers License;
n
Minimum three (3) years experience (PQE) as a lawyer;
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
n
A qualified, approachable and client-focused manner;
n




Excellent attention to detail and file management skills;
n
The ability to manage matters independently, while also working collaboratively within the team;
n
A punctual, reliable and proactive approach to work;
n
A genuine interest in delivering high-quality outcomes for clients; and
n
Experience using LEAP and PEXA.
n
Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:
n
Property Law and Conveyancing ( which is an essential part of this role);
n
Probate and Estate Administration, Estate Planning ( which is desirable but not essential) . A willingness to learn in this rapidly developing area will also be favourably considered; and
n
Family Law.
