About the Role
n
Our Mt Kelly Operations (Lady Annie mine), located approximately 120km north-northwest of Mount Isa, has been an operational copper mine for over 10 years. We are currently seeking skilled and safety-focused Mobile Maintenance Serviceman to join our team and contribute to the growing success of our processing operations.

What You'll Do
n
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent working, you will be responsible for ensuring that Austral's mining and mobile plant/equipment are serviced to ensure maximum plant availability and to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Refuelling mining and mobile plant/equipment,
n
Routine maintenance,
n
Assist fitters where required,
n
Ensure positive housekeeping standards are maintained at all times,
n
Equipment servicing including oil and filter changes,
n




Machine inspections, reporting on defects and checking fluid levels daily.
n
Work within a small maintenance team dedicated to achieving our set targets.
n
Follow site procedures, safety requirements, and environmental controls.
n
Work as part of a team to support safe and efficient plant operations.
n

Key Requirements
n
n
Previous experience working as a serviceman on a mite site or working in mining and/or heavy earthmoving industries,
n
Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative,
n
Possess a current manual driver's license (HR Licence preferred),
n
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, and
n
A commitment to a positive safety culture.
