Your new company Hays is proud to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected Queensland-based food production business to recruit a Finance & Administration Manager. Operating within a fast-paced production workplace, this organisation is recognised for its commitment to quality, operational excellence and continuous improvement. This is a hands‐on leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to play a key role within the senior leadership team while leading a team of five across finance and payroll. This is an on‐site position, offering direct exposure to operations and the ability to influence business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, mentoring and developing a team of five across finance and payroll
n
Managing month‐end close, financial reporting and forecasting processes
n
Delivering business performance analysis and commercial insights
n
Partnering closely with operational leaders to improve manufacturing performance and profitability
n
Developing budgets, financial models and business plans
n
Managing external audit requirements and stakeholder relationships
n
Overseeing tax, compliance and statutory reporting obligations
n
Reviewing contracts and identifying cost‐saving opportunities
n




Driving process improvements and efficiencies across finance operations
n
Supporting the ongoing optimisation of Oracle ERP processes and reporting
n
n
What you'll need to succeed
n
n
CA or CPA qualified
n
Previous experience leading finance teams within a manufacturing, industrial, agribusiness, FMCG or similar environment
n
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
n
Experience business partnering with operational stakeholders
n
Advanced commercial acumen and analytical capability
n
Oracle ERP experience highly regarded
n
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
n
A proactive, hands‐on approach and ability to thrive in a site‐based environment
n
