Bowral & District Hospital is seeking passionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurses to join our inpatient unit.

Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife, you will support the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence based and culturally appropriate care.

Provide safe, compassionate, person centred nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife
Contribute to evidence based and culturally appropriate care to achieve quality patient outcomes
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues to ensure coordinated and safe care
Actively participate in career development, reflective practice, and the support of others

Demonstrated competence in delivering safe, quality, person centred nursing care in an inpatient or acute care setting
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to cultural safety, ethical practice, and maintaining patient confidentiality




Willingness to take responsibility for clinical practice, critical reflection, and ongoing professional development
Ability to uphold legislation, professional standards, the Enrolled Nurse Standards for Practice, and model NSW Health CORE Values and Transforming Your Experience behaviours
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
Current Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated recent experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality
Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care
Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
