We are currently working with a leading cost consultancy that is looking to strengthen its Brisbane team with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Consultant.

The Opportunity

You will work across a broad range of projects, with the opportunity to develop your experience across sectors including:

Major Developments
n
n
You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and cost planning through to procurement, tendering and post-contract services.

The Role
n
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
n
n
Lead cost planning and estimating across major projects.
n
Prepare feasibility studies, budgets and detailed cost plans.
n
Manage tender documentation, procurement and tender analysis.
n
Provide cost advice and commercial guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
n
Undertake post-contract cost management, including valuations, variations, forecasting and reporting.
n
Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
n
Support and mentor junior members of the team.
n
Take ownership of projects and play an active role in developing client relationships and repeat business.

About You




n
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with:
n
n
Senior-level experience within a cost consultancy / PQS environment.
n
Strong technical QS and cost management experience.
n
Experience working across major building or infrastructure projects.
n
Excellent cost planning, estimating and post-contract skills.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
The ability to manage projects independently while supporting more junior team members.
n
A commercial mindset and genuine interest in developing your career within consultancy.
n
n
Experience across data centres, infrastructure, commercial, education or health would be highly regarded, although candidates from other major project sectors will also be considered.
n
