An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Manager / Operations Leader to join a leading superannuation administration workplace on an initial 12-month contract, with potential for the role to become permanent.
n This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing client-focused operations, managing key Trustee and client relationships, and leading a high-performing team to ensure contracted service agreements, operational targets and service standards are consistently achieved.

About the Role
n
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of a professional operations function, working closely with key clients and Trustees to deliver exceptional service in a highly regulated and continually evolving environment.
n
You will lead 3–5 direct reports, with broader leadership responsibility across ****** indirect operations employees, including offshore support.
n
Key Responsibilities
n

Lead and manage a client-focused operations function, ensuring delivery against contractual SLAs and service agreements.
n
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with Trustees, clients and key stakeholders.
n
Lead, coach and develop managers and team members, driving performance, engagement and succession planning.
n
Act as a senior point of escalation for operational, client and service-related issues.
n
Partner with internal stakeholders across Risk & Compliance, Technology, Finance, Change and Operations.
n




Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
n
Lead teams through organisational and operational change, effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
n
Monitor operational risks and ensure appropriate controls are implemented to protect both the client and business.
n
Support workforce planning, resource allocation and the effective utilisation of onshore and offshore teams.
n
Provide senior leadership with insight and recommendations on emerging operational and client issues.
n

About You
n
We are looking for an experienced people leader with a strong background in superannuation or financial services
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
Proven experience operating at a Senior Manager / Operations Leader level.
n
Strong experience managing Trustee, client or institutional stakeholder relationships.
n
A track record of leading and developing small-to-medium sized teams.
n
Strong knowledge of superannuation and/or fund administration environments.
n
Demonstrated ability to manage contractual relationships and deliver against SLAs.
n
Strong commercial and operational acumen, with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
n
Experience managing offshore teams or working across onshore/offshore operating models.
n
Strong understanding of operational risk and regulatory requirements.
n
Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills.
n
The ability to operate confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders.
n
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management or a related discipline would be advantageous.
