We are seeking experienced
Senior Investigators and a Lead Investigator
with robust backgrounds in regulatory investigations, fraud, compliance, enforcement or Commonwealth Government investigations.

The Opportunities
Senior Investigator – APS6 Equivalent
Multiple positions available
Working as part of an experienced investigations function, you will manage complex and sensitive matters from initial assessment through to investigation outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting complex and sensitive investigations
Assessing allegations and planning investigative strategies
Conducting interviews and preparing statements and affidavits
Collecting, securing and managing evidence and confidential information
Preparing comprehensive investigation reports
Developing briefs of evidence for potential referral and enforcement action
Working closely with Commonwealth agencies, regulators and law enforcement bodies
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders throughout investigations
Providing evidence in criminal and/or civil proceedings where required
Supporting operational investigation activities
Lead Investigator – EL1 Equivalent

This position will take a leadership role across complex investigations and provide oversight, quality assurance and capability development within the investigations function.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting a team of investigators
Managing and quality assuring complex and sensitive investigations
Providing oversight of investigation planning, evidence collection, reports and briefs of evidence
Driving high standards of investigative practice
Developing contemporary investigative strategies, tools and techniques
Reviewing investigation outcomes and identifying systemic or emerging issues
Supporting fraud, integrity, regulatory and enforcement initiatives
Developing investigation capability across the team
Building senior relationships with Commonwealth regulatory and law enforcement agencies
Providing high-level advice on complex investigative matters
About You
You will be an experienced investigations professional who is comfortable operating within a
highly regulated, evidence-based environment
.
Ideally, your background will include experience within one or more of the following:
Commonwealth or State Government investigations
Regulatory or enforcement agencies
Corporate or financial investigations
Fraud and integrity investigations
Compliance and regulatory enforcement
Law enforcement
Complex civil or criminal investigations
You will bring strong investigative judgement, exceptional written communication skills and demonstrated experience managing sensitive information and evidence.
For the Lead Investigator opportunity, you will also have demonstrated experience
leading investigators, quality assuring complex casework and engaging with senior regulatory and enforcement stakeholders
.
Essential Requirements
Australian Citizenship
Relevant investigation experience
Ability to obtain and maintain the required Commonwealth security clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
Relevant Government Investigations qualifications, including
Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent
, where required
Ability to undertake occasional domestic travel
