Temporary Full time up to 3 years
Salary:
Clerk Grade 7/8 ($113,574 - $125,720 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
Support and execute all procurement activities for Major Projects, including tender preparation, sourcing assistance, contract setup, and ongoing commercial administration across capital works and infrastructure.
What you'll do
As a Procurement Officer within the Major Project team with Infrastructure and Assets, you will be responsible for supporting and undertaking all procurement activities for Major Projects including, tender preparation, sourcing support, contract establishment and commercial administration across capital works and infrastructure delivery.
Provides day to day support across vendor management, variation processing, commercial risk identification, and ongoing relationship management to ensure procurement and contract outcomes directly contribute to project planning and delivery.
You will be joining a dynamic and cooperative team within the Major Projects unit at DCJ.

What we're looking for
Practical procurement experience: You bring hands on experience supporting end to end procurement activities, applying procurement policies, preparing documentation and contributing to effective contract and supplier management.
Strong communication and documentation skills: You can develop clear and accurate procurement documents, reports, and correspondence and you communicate confidently with suppliers, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder engagement capability:



You demonstrate the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
