About the Role

/n

MLA Wollongong Branch (formerly Bis / Brambles) is seeking skilled and motivated Plant Mechanicsto join our growing service team. You'll support our largest customer, Blue Scope, along with a growing South Coast customer base, working on a modern and varied fleet of materials handling equipment.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Ensure on site safety principles and standards are adhered to at all times

/n

- Perform preventative maintenance, srvice and & repairs to OEM standards

/n

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults on forklifts and associated equipment to a professional standard

/n

- Utilise diagnostic software and technical systems to identify and resolve equipment issues

/n

- Support continuous improvement across the team

/n/n

About You

Qualifications & Experience

- Experiencing servicing and repairing vehicles

/n

- Experience & knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems

/n

- Competent in fault finding, diagnostics, and performing quality repairs

/n

- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, hazard identification, and risk management

/n

- A Team focused approach with initiative and willingness to learn

/n/n
