BTP - Field Service Technician - Mackay Based

About the Opportunity

As a Field Service Technician with BTP, you'll be working across a major open-cut operation, delivering critical maintenance, breakdown support and component changeouts on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.

/n

You won't be stuck in a workshop. This is hands-on, field-based work where no two days are the same and your ability to diagnose and solve problems is what sets you apart.

What You'll Be Doing

/n

/n





- Field-based preventative maintenance and breakdown diagnostics

/n

- Fault finding across powertrain, hydraulic and electrical systems

/n

- Performing component changeouts safely and efficiently

/n

- Working directly with site teams to keep equipment moving

/n

- Utilising CAT SIS and ET systems for diagnostics and reporting

/n/n

What You Bring

/n

/n

- Relevant Australian recognised trade qualification (essential)

/n

- Experience in a Field Service or customer-facing role

/n

- Strong diagnostic capability across CAT & Komatsu equipment

/n

- Solid understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems

/n

- A commitment to safety, quality and accountability

/n/n
