Urgent Hiring: Support Worker Needed For Immediate Start

Position Summary

/n

The Support Worker will provide assistance to clients inaccordance with their individual NDIS plans, promoting independence,safety, and overall well-being.

/n

Key Responsibilities:

/n

Provide support to clients in line withtheir NDIS goals and support plans

/n

Assist with daily living activities,including eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming

/n

Provide transportation support toappointments and community activities

/n

Deliver respite care to clients and theirfamilies when required

/n

Maintain accurate and up-to-date recordsof client care plans and progress notes

/n

Communicate effectively with clients,families, and other members of the care team

/n

Adhere to all health and safety policiesand procedures to ensure client well-being

/n

Participate in ongoing professionaldevelopment to remain current with NDIS best practices

/n

Requirements

/n

/n

- Minimum of a high school certificate or equivalent

/n

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care, or related field), or willingness to work towards completion(highly regarded)

/n

- Lived experience and/or paid experience supporting people with disability

/n

- Must be currently located in Australia at the time of application

/n

- Must hold valid work rights and lawful permission to live and workin Australia at the time of application (VISA sponsorship not available)

/n

- Availability to work across day shifts, night shifts, sleepovers,and weekends

/n

- Solid understanding of the NDIS and its Practice Standards

/n

- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and duty of care obligations

/n

- Ability to work with a diverse client base, demonstrating culturalawareness and sensitivity to varying abilities, backgrounds, andcommunication needs

/n

- Basic care skills, including first aid (or willingness to obtain)

/n

- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic digital systems
