Braidwood Multi-Purpose Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 25 September to 5 November 2026. This is a small-site role based in Braidwood, NSW, where you'll take in-charge responsibility and lead the ED team. You'll work primarily in the Emergency Department, with the flexibility to support Residential Aged Care services during quieter periods. This is an ideal prospect for an emergency nurse looking for focused contract work in a tight-knit healthcare setting.

Preferred Requirements





- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Current Triage certificate or equivalent triage assessment qualification
- Demonstrated experience with cannulation and venepuncture
- Proven emergency nursing experience and comfort working in a small ED environment
- Ability to take clinical leadership and in-charge responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in Emergency Nursing
- Experience in small or rural healthcare settings is advantageous
