About the Company:
AG Coombs Pty Ltd, one of Australia's most trusted providers of HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical services, is expanding. With continued national growth, we are seeking an experienced Lead Drafter to join the Virtual Design Construction (VDC) team to help drive excellence across major building services projects.

About the Role:
Lead a team of drafters delivering high quality mechanical services drawings and 3D models for major HVAC projects. You will be responsible for:

- Leading and mentoring a team of mechanical drafters
- Managing drafting workflows and allocating project tasks
- Delivering accurate mechanical services drawings and coordinated 3D models
- Ensuring drafting outputs meet BIM, project and quality requirements
- Reviewing drawings and models for technical accuracy and compliance
- Working closely with project managers,



engineers, site teams and other stakeholders
- Supporting coordinated BIM outcomes across complex projects
- Contributing to continuous improvement of VDC and drafting processes

About YOU!

- 5+ years mechanical drafting experience is essential
- Previous experience leading, mentoring and coordinating a drafting team
- Robust Revit & Navisworks capability
- Excellent understanding of BIM works and coordination
- High attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive, solutions focused approach
- The ability to manage priorities and deliver to project deadlines
