Does the fast pace of a Surgical Unit appeal to you? Royal North Shore Hospital's Colorectal, Upper GI and Gastroenterology Ward is looking for Registered Nurses to join their energetic nursing team. Positions are being offered on a Full or Part time temporary basis.

Ward 8B has a strong focus on multidisciplinary team work, with cross referrals between the physicians and surgeons, and daily team meetings. The Ward is supported by enthusiastic nursing staff, a variety of allied health professionals, Clinical Nurse Consultants for Stomal Therapy and Total Parenteral Nutrition, and a Ward Based Clinical Nurse Educator. The senior staff on Ward 8B includes Clinical Nurse Specialists. Staff are provided with a supportive environment, and are encouraged to extend their skills. We also provide a Structured Orientation and Preceptorship program. A Stomal Therapy Certificate course is offered through the NSW College of Nursing.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current experience in an acute hospital environment.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.

Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
