This is a hands-on business development opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of sales activity, developing new customer relationships and working with experienced operational teams to deliver practical transport and logistics solutions.

FBT Transwest is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our transport and logistics services across Australia. Based in Brisbane, this role suits a proactive sales professional who can identify opportunities, build relationships and deliver results.

- Brisbane-based role with regular Queensland and interstate travel.

/n

- Autonomous sales role backed by strong operational support.

What you'll be doing

- Develop and execute sales plans to grow revenue, margin and market share.

/n

- Identify and secure new business through prospecting, customer engagement, site visits and tenders.

/n

- Build strong customer,



prospect and industry relationships.

- Work with operations and management teams to deliver customer and commercial outcomes.

/n/n

What you'll bring

/n

/n

- Experience in business development, sales or account acquisition, ideally in transport, logistics, supply chain or B2B services.

/n

- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

/n

- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

/n

- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working autonomously.

/n

- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate as required.

/n

- Established Australian transport and logistics business.

/n
