The Chance:

As the Condition Monitoring Technician, you will play a key role in developing and embedding a proactive condition monitoring program that supports safe, reliable, and efficient processing plant operations. Your work will directly contribute to improved equipment reliability, reduced downtime, and long-term asset performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

/n

/n

- Undertake all work in a safe and efficient manner, in line with statutory requirements and Gold Fields policies and procedures

/n

- Develop and continuously improve the Condition Monitoring program, complementing proactive maintenance plans, tactics, and safe work instructions

/n

- Manage vibration analysis, lubrication, and thermography-based predictive maintenance programs, including in office data collection, analysis, and recommendations for rotating equipment

/n





- Coordinate and manage specialist condition monitoring contractors

/n

- Collect, monitor, and analyse condition data from both rotating and fixed plant equipment to detect early-stage faults and proactively prevent equipment failures.

/n

- Support equipment reliability programs by taking part in root cause failure analyses and continuous improvement activities.

/n

- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance practices, and work procedures

/n/n

About the Role:

/n

/n

- Trade qualification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

/n

- ISO 18436 Category IICertification in Vibration Analysis

/n

- Level 1 Thermography certification and experience in Ultrasonic testing

/n

- Mechanical trade background with a strong understanding of rotating and fixed plant equipment common to mineral processing operations

/n

- Experience in condition monitoring within mineral processing environments

/n/n

Proficient in using Emerson AMS 2140 Analyzer and AMS Machine Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS platforms

/n
