We are looking for an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to lead our Sydney DC in Prospect, NSW.

This role is responsible for leading a team of 40 people and ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently and delivers outstanding service to customers across Sydney and regional NSW.

We're looking for someone who has led a sizeable warehouse or distribution operation before and knows how to balance safety, productivity, inventory accuracy and customer service. Just as importantly, you'll be someone who can build a strong team culture, hold people accountable and get the best out of your leaders and frontline teams.

What you'll be doing

You'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Distribution Centre and in house transport team, including:

- Leading and developing a team and driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance across the site.
- Managing warehouse operations, inventory accuracy and outbound service performance.
- Monitoring operational metrics and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Working closely with transport providers, customer service teams, sales and supply chain stakeholders.
- Managing labour, costs and resources to meet business and customer requirements.




- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing and logistics processes.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, stock control and operational discipline.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience managing a large warehouse or distribution centre operation.
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior warehousing, logistics or distribution leadership role.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience leading supervisors and operational teams.
- Experience managing warehouse KPIs, inventory accuracy and service performance.
- A practical, hands-on leadership style and a willingness to be visible on the floor.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in building materials, manufacturing, industrial or FMCG environments will be highly regarded.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
