What's the role?
Westpac SME is entering an exciting phase of growth and we're looking for a Business Development and Lending Manager who loves building strong partnerships and helping businesses achieve their goals.
You'll grow relationships with brokers, introducers and referral networks to bring recent SME customers to Westpac. Using your lending expertise and commercial knowledge, you'll identify opportunities, structure tailored lending solutions and guide customers through every stage of the lending process. From the initial conversation through to settlement and beyond, you'll play an important role in delivering a seamless experience, creating trusted partnerships and helping customers achieve their ambitions.
Location: Perth / Boorloo, Noongar Country
Work Type: Full time, Hybrid
What do I need?
- Proven experience in Business Banking and commercial lending.
- Strong relationship building and networking skills with brokers, accountants and referral partners.
- Demonstrated success originating, winning and converting new business opportunities.
- Experience structuring lending solutions and preparing high quality credit applications.
- Strong ability to manage multiple deals through the full lending lifecycle from origination to settlement.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across customers, brokers, credit teams and internal partners.
- A customer first mindset with a proven ability to build long term trusted relationships.
