This is a specialist opportunity for an experienced Time and Labour Management professional to join a large, complex payroll environment and become the SME for a critical workforce time management system.

Working within the Payroll and Time Operations team, you'll play a key role in supporting and improving the Time and Labour Management platform, which touches every employee and leader across the organisation. It's a highly visible role combining technical expertise, problem solving, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

This is not a junior payroll position. We're looking for someone who brings genuine depth in TLM/time and attendance, can get into the detail of complex issues, and is confident operating as a trusted specialist across finance and the business.

What you'll be doing

- Act as the SME for UKG Time and Labour Management, providing day-to-day support and resolving complex system and process issues.
- Investigate and resolve defects and issues across time, attendance, leave, scheduling, rostering and employee records.
- Work closely with employees and leaders to understand issues, provide advice and deliver practical solutions.
- Identify gaps and opportunities across TLM processes and drive improvements that enhance accuracy, compliance and customer experience.
- Support system testing, UAT, enhancements, upgrades and business initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides and training materials.
- Provide knowledge transfer, coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members.
- Work closely with Employee Relations, HR Operations, Systems and Operations to ensure processes reflect business requirements.
- Support reporting, analysis, controls, governance and audit activities.
- Build a strong understanding of business objectives and tailor TLM processes accordingly.
- Sit at the intersection of TLM,



Leave and Enterprise Agreements. You'll need to understand how EA rules and leave provisions flow through timesheets and the time management system.

About you

We're looking for someone with:

- Significant payroll experience and understanding of Time and Labour Management / time and attendance, ideally within a medium to large organisation.
- Robust hands-on experience with UKG or another Tier One workforce management platform.
- A strong understanding of how time, attendance and leave interact within a complex payroll environment.
- Experience with system testing, defect management, UAT and system enhancements.
- Project experience would be highly regarded, particularly where you've worked across data, reporting, analysis or system/process transformation.
- The ability to diagnose issues, identify gaps and translate business requirements into practical system and process solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with employees, leaders and senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative, inclusive and open approach, with a genuine willingness to share knowledge and support others.
