Port Lincoln Health and Hospital Service is seeking a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join the Operating Theatre and Sterilisation team on a six-week contract from 4 September to 16 October 2026. This is a rural and remote healthcare setting where you'll work 0.84 FTE (64 hours per fortnight) as part of a skilled surgical team. You may be redeployed across other areas depending on operational needs and staffing, giving you exposure to varied clinical environments in a close-knit regional health service.

Preferred Requirements





- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
- Experience working in an operating theatre or sterilisation environment

- Robust communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Willingness to work in a rural and remote healthcare context

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent), with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing
- Familiarity with sterilisation protocols and operating theatre standards
