Staff Specialist Medical Oncologist – 0.8 FTE

The position offers a broad scope of medical oncology practice, providing comprehensive care across outpatient and inpatient settings within a supportive multidisciplinary workplace. You will work alongside experienced medical, nursing and allied health teams, managing patients throughout the cancer care continuum.

Key aspects of the role include:

- Management of a broad range of solid tumour malignancies
- Delivery of outpatient medical oncology clinics and inpatient consultative care
- Participation in multidisciplinary tumour meetings and treatment planning
- Ongoing management and follow-up of oncology patients
- Contribution to clinical governance, quality improvement and service development
- Teaching, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and trainees

This 0.8 FTE appointment would suit a Medical Oncologist looking for a position that combines clinical autonomy with strong multidisciplinary support. The Requirements
- FRACP Medical Oncology
- Hold unrestricted AHPRA Specialist Registration or
- Nearing completion of peer review and seeking a consultant role in the next 3-6 months
