Project Support Officer | Grants Administration

Support an Australian Government grants program as a Project Support Officer, assisting with grant administration, records, stakeholder queries and program reporting. Specific training will be provided.

Location: Canberra, Brisbane or Melbourne
Contract Duration: 6 months, possible 6-month extension
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline
Closing Date: 10.00am, Friday 28 August 2026

Essential Tasks

- Process and assess grant funding queries and agreements within a small team.
- Maintain records of grant applications, outcomes, acquittals and expenditure.
- Prepare responses to grant queries by reviewing agreements, guidelines and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide program information to executives and other agencies.

Key Criteria

- Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of Australian Government grants processes and relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks.




- Sound communication skills across internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Financial and analytical capability; previous program support experience, including within the ECEC sector, is desirable.
