We are seeking a proactive Workshop Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of workshop operations including fabrication, off-site repairs, assembly & paint & blast activities. The role entails managing workshop deliverables, overseeing multi-disciplined teams, coordinating with internal stakeholders for site deliverables in WA, driving business development opportunities, and ensuring workshop projects are executed efficiently and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

- Lead and manage workshop operations in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring timely execution and delivery of workshop projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and review key workshop deliverables, including scheduling, quality assurance, fabrication documentation, and compliance with statutory regulations and industry standards.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities to support workshop growth and client engagement.
- Control and maintain workshop financials and reporting guidelines.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontracts in alignment with workshop schedule requirements and company delegation of authority.
- Provide weekly progress reports covering all aspects of the Scope of Work, including HSEQ incidents, earned vs. burned manhours, forecast to complete, commercial and contractual issues, risk management, and quality assurance.




- Proactively manage changes to the scope of work through the change management process.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in workshop management within the mineral processing industry of WA and Australia.
- Fabrication and workshop experience.
- Proven ability to manage workshop projects in a timely manner with a focus on successful execution.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Robust understanding of workshop management methodologies and practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
