Kimba Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team on a seven-week contract from 31 August to 16 October 2026. This is a rural and remote role offering the opportunity to work across the Emergency Department, Acute Care, and Aged Care wards on a full-time basis (76 hours per fortnight). The position is remunerated at AUD71.54 to AUD92.71 per hour, providing valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare setting where flexibility and clinical adaptability are essential.

- Work across multiple clinical areas—Emergency Department, Acute Care, and Aged Care—depending on operational needs and skill mix

Preferred Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia




- Ability to work flexibly across different clinical environments on a shift-by-shift basis
- Sound clinical judgment and the capacity to prioritise care in rapid-paced settings
- Experience in at least one of the following: emergency care, acute care, or aged care nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Experience working in rural or remote healthcare settings is advantageous
