Are you an organised and customer-focused administration professional looking for a role where no two days are quite the same?

Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our Regulatory City Compliance team on a permanent, full-time basis.

In this wide-ranging role, you will provide high-quality administrative and customer service support across the team, helping to ensure our services are delivered efficiently and professionally to the community.

- Permanent, position available.
- Remuneration package of $2,686.30 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,223.56 gross per fortnight + superannuation.

What you will do

As the Administration Officer, you will:

- provide high-quality customer service and administrative support;
- process applications, purchase requisitions and other administrative documentation;
- prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and promotional materials;
- coordinate meeting agendas and minutes;
- assist with the planning and delivery of workshops and events;
- maintain databases and electronic records, including the NSW Companion Animals Register;
- undertake research and support a range of day-to-day operational activities; and
- provide administrative support to Council's Animal Shelter as required.

What you will need to succeed:

We are looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a team. You will bring:

- relevant business administration qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Business Administration;
- demonstrated administration and customer service experience;
- strong written and verbal communication skills;




- sound time management and planning skills;
- confidence using Microsoft Office and other relevant software systems;
- the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively;
- a commitment to providing quality customer service and contributing to continuous improvement; and
- a current Class C Driver's Licence.
