Talyn Recruitment Group has partnered with an established manufacturing business in Melbourne's south-east to find an Accounts Assistant / Administration Officer for their finance team.

Reporting to the Accountant, you'll keep the accounts payable process moving: processing and coding supplier invoices, managing the AP inbox, reconciling company credit cards and supplier statements, and keeping supplier records accurate. You'll also support month-end across reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, which is good exposure if you're building a career in accounting.

It's a busy, hands-on role in a stable business that values accuracy and follow-through. Immediate start available.

Day to day

- Process and code supplier invoices accurately and on time

- Manage the accounts payable inbox and respond to supplier queries





- Reconcile company credit cards and supplier statements

- Support month-end: reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and supporting schedules

- General accounts administration for the finance team

What you'll need

- Hands-on accounts payable experience in a busy environment

- Confident Excel skills and experience with MYOB or a similar accounting system used daily

- Accuracy, organisation and explicit communication

- An accounting or finance qualification is welcome, not essential

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 + super, depending on experience.
