Help shape the quality and assurance standards behind one of Australia's most significant Defence programs.
We're seeking an experienced Senior Quality Enablement Specialist to join our Quality & Mission Assurance team supporting a major Defence capability program in Exmouth, Western Australia. In this role, you'll work alongside engineering, project and operational teams to ensure quality outcomes, drive compliance, conduct audits and investigations, and support continuous improvement across a highly technical environment.
This is an prospect to step into a senior specialist role where your expertise will influence program outcomes, strengthen quality performance, and contribute directly to mission success.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct quality audits, surveillance activities and compliance reviews.
- Lead investigations into quality and technical issues.
- Perform acceptance testing, verification activities and inspections.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality management systems.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, project teams and customers to ensure delivery requirements are achieved.
- Assist with external audits and management of corrective actions.
About You
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering, Quality, Systems, Maintenance, IT or a related technical discipline.
- Strong experience conducting ISO9001 and/or AS9100 quality audits.
- Experience within Defence, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.
- Excellent investigation, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
