Know your way around a structural steel fabrication workshop and ready to take the next step in your career?

You might be a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, Fabrication Coordinator, Draftsperson, Detailer, Workshop Supervisor or trade qualified Fabricator who has moved into coordination.

You do not need to already be an established Project Manager.

What matters is a solid understanding of structural steel, fabrication drawings and how work moves through the workshop. From there, you'll be supported to take on more ownership across projects, clients and commercial delivery.

- Varied Infrastructure Projects - Get exposure to structural steel across transport, civil and infrastructure, including bridge steelwork, gantries, barriers, platforms and fabricated assemblies.

- Multiple Projects - Work across a varied portfolio, from smaller jobs through to projects around $1 million.




- Experienced Support - Learn from leaders who understand both fabrication and project delivery, with room to take on more responsibility as you develop.

What You'll Be Doing

- Coordinate structural steel projects across shop drawings, job packs, procurement, fabrication scheduling, suppliers, subcontractors, QA and site delivery.
- Work closely with the workshop to manage priorities, solve technical issues and keep jobs moving through production.
- Build broader responsibility across clients, costs, variations, estimating and final handover.

What Will Make You Successful

- Genuine structural steel or heavy fabrication experience, with a positive understanding of how work moves through a fabrication workshop.
- Comfortable reading shop and fabrication drawings, with exposure to workshop planning, welding, materials, procurement, QA or site coordination.
- Trade, Engineering, Drafting or similar technical background, with the ambition to take on more project ownership and develop into Project Management.
