As Nido continues to grow, we're excited to introduce newly created Assistant Service Manager opportunities across our services in Victoria and we are on the search for Nido Early School Long Gully's new Assistant Service Manager.

Your role as Assistant Service Manager
You’ll work closely with the Executive Service Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service, from compliance and safety to people support and family engagement.
- Act as the service’s nominated Educational Leader, leading implementation of educational programmes and supporting high-quality practice across the service.
- Support and develop educators to deliver exceptional outcomes for children.
- Help ensure learning environments are protected, engaging and aligned with Nido's philosophy.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and performance processes.
- Maintain accurate staff and child records and support ongoing compliance.
- Support WHS processes, safety checks, drills and risk management.
- Provide operational leadership when the Executive Service Manager is absent.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, educators and the wider community.
- Lead by example through consistency, respect, intentionality, collaboration and speaking up.
What you'll bring
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent).
- At least two years' experience as a Lead Educator or relevant leadership experience in ECE.
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and National Quality Framework.
- Confidence supporting and developing teams.
- Solid organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting compliance and operational processes.
- Current WWCC and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- National Child Safety Training is required.
