Our client is embarking on a significant digital transformation program, with a strong focus on cyber security, technology risk reduction, remediation and the uplift of critical technology environments.

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join this high-profile transformation program and work closely with senior business, technology, cyber security and operational stakeholders.

Experience within one or more of the following environments will be highly regarded: Aerospace, Defence, Aviation, Manufacturing, Heavy Industry, Mining, Pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated industries.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

- 10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background delivering complex technology initiatives and enterprise transformation programs.

- Experience supporting cyber security, technology risk, remediation and risk reduction programs.

- Understanding of Essential Eight, cyber security uplift and technology risk reduction initiatives.

- Experience working across or alongside IT and OT environments, ideally where technology directly impacts physical operations, production, safety or critical infrastructure.

- Lead business analysis activities across complex technology transformation, cyber and technology risk initiatives.

- Analyse current-state environments and contribute to future-state technology and operating models.

- Translate complex technology issues and risks into clear business requirements and actionable outcomes.

- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions across technology, cyber, engineering, operations and business teams.

- Define business problems,



objectives, benefits, success measures and requirements.

- Analyse business processes, systems, data flows, integrations and operational dependencies.

- Develop clear requirements and documentation to support solution design and implementation.

- Maintain traceability between requirements, risks, controls, remediation activities, testing and delivered outcomes.

- Partner with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Project teams.

- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior executives, technical teams, operational stakeholders and business leaders.

- Support business cases, investment proposals, cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments.

- Identify opportunities to improve technology resilience, operational efficiency and risk posture.

- Support testing activities, acceptance criteria and UAT.

- Communicate risks, issues, dependencies and progress clearly to senior stakeholders and executives.

- Experience working within structured governance, risk and compliance environments.

- Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.

- Experience with BA/Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence.

- Contribute to BA practices, governance and continuous improvement across the program.

- Mentor and support less experienced Business Analysts where required.
