Job Description

- Take on a pivotal role within Qantas Engineering and help keep our operation running safely and efficiently
- Play a key part in planning, coordinating and controlling aircraft maintenance activities across the network
- 3 permanent full-time opportunities available based in Mascot Jet Base on a 4 on, 4 off roster

Working with industry-leading technology, skilled teams and complex operations, you'll play an important role in helping us deliver safe and on-time outcomes.

As a Maintenance Production Controller, you'll be responsible for the planning and coordination of aircraft maintenance events, ensuring the right resources, tooling, materials and facilities are in place to support operational requirements. Acting as a key link between Planning, Line Maintenance,



Supply Chain and Operational teams, you'll help drive efficient maintenance execution while minimising operational impacts.

What you'll be responsible for:

- Planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance events across the Line Maintenance network
- Developing maintenance schedules, task sequencing and resource plans
- Managing labour forecasting, workload balancing and resource utilisation
- Ensuring tooling, materials, facilities and equipment are available to support maintenance activities
- Monitoring maintenance work packages, identifying critical path items and managing operational constraints
- Coordinating maintenance priorities, defects and deferred tasks to support aircraft availability
- Producing operational reports, forecasts and performance analysis
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimise maintenance outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting operational readiness through effective planning, communication and problem solving

You'll bring:

- Extensive aircraft maintenance experience, ideally within an airline, MRO or closely related aviation environment
- An aircraft trade qualification or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Experience in production planning, maintenance planning, scheduling or operational control environments




- Robust understanding of aircraft maintenance systems, processes and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to forecast labour requirements and coordinate maintenance workloads
- Highly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple teams
- Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to perform effectively in a dynamic operational environment where priorities can change quickly
