About the Role’s Responsibilities

As the HSEQ Manager, your primary focus will be to support and consult with the project leadership through planning and monitoring and reviewing HSEQ performance throughout project delivery.

Principally, you will be focused on:





- Maintaining and monitoring compliance of the SMS and Project Safety Plans

- Reviewing Project Risk Assessments, SWMS and subcontractor safety documentation

- Identifying, consulting with the project team(s) and championing opportunities or initiatives to improve performance

- Assisting project leadership to facilitate and deliver Inductions and Toolbox meetings

- Monitoring and verifying plant and equipment registers and certifications, and required operator qualifications.

- Overseeing weekly and monthly reporting requirements.

About Your Experience and Qualifications

You’ll bring proven experience in a safety-focused role within commercial construction ideally working for a commercial builder or developer.

Your experience in delivering commercial, industrial or residential apartment projects will supported by strong communication skills that allow you to build rapport across multiple project teams and stakeholders.

Your understanding of WHSE legislation is backed by formal safety qualifications, and you’re confident in influencing site-level practices and promoting a culture of safety.

Experience working across multiple projects will be highly regarded.
