As our Educational Leader, you will play a key role in guiding pedagogical practice and ensuring excellence across our service. You will be a mentor, critical thinker, and strong support to our educators — while also confidently leading compliance and continuous improvement processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the implementation of the National Quality Framework, including a strong working knowledge of the Education and Care National Law and Regulations
- Guiding and supporting the development and ongoing review of our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
- Guiding and supporting educators with SIP/KIS plans
- Supporting and contributing to our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
- Facilitating regular Room Leader meetings to drive reflective practice and collaboration
- Mentoring educators and supporting them to follow the planning cycle with confidence and purpose
- Researching and recommending meaningful professional development opportunities that align with service goals and contemporary practice
- Working alongside educators on the floor (minimum one day per week) to strengthen curriculum understanding and implementation
About You
You are a confident and experienced early childhood professional who:
- Holds a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Has at least 5 years’ experience in the early childhood sector
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the National Law, Regulations, and National Quality Standards
- Holds current First Aid, CPR,
Anaphylaxis, and Asthma qualifications
- Is passionate about mentoring and building educator capacity
- Can provide both strong support and clear pedagogical guidance
- Values collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement
