The Role:

We’re looking for a Project Manager who leads with partnership, someone who owns the client relationship as much as the delivery.

You’ll be the trusted link between our clients and our technical team, guiding Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) engagements from sales handover through delivery, hypercare and beyond. That’s more than keeping a plan on track. It means leading the conversations that matter: naming trade-offs before they become problems, helping clients make the right call when scope, time or budget shifts, and confidently setting clear boundaries while maintaining trust.

You don’t need to be the most technical person in the room. You do need the confidence to lead client conversations,

challenge thinking when needed and provide honest advice that builds trust and leads to better outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Own client engagements from sales handover through delivery, hypercare and handover – as a partner, not jsut a project lead.
- Lead delivery commercially, managing scope, governance, budgets, risks and change control – not just workshops and configuration.
- Build trusted client relationships and confidently navigate conversations around scope, timelines, budget and delivery risks.
- Run trade-off conversations when clients request additional scope by clarifying the impact on time, cost and quality, presenting practical options and guiding the client towards an agreed recommendation.
- Escalate risks early with clear evidence before they become delivery issues - and know when to hold the line, escalate, or accept a call with conditions.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and prioritise your time effectively.
- Support presales activities, including product demonstrations and solution discussions.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and direction of Sensei.

Sound interesting? Here’s the key skills set you’ll need to qualify:

- 3-5+ years' experience leading technology delivery or consulting engagements.
- A natural partner mindset. You build trust fast and hold it through the hard conversations, not just the easy ones.
- The confidence to hold a firm line with clients while keeping the relationship strong.
- A solid understanding of project management and PPM best practices, across Agile,

Waterfall or hybrid delivery.
- Experience managing scope, commercial boundaries and change control with fixed-price or consulting/vendor delivery experience is highly regarded.
- Confidence to hold a firm line with clients while maintaining trusted relationships.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform and Project tools.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant project management or Microsoft certifications are desirable.

 And here's what we value:

- People trust you – You’re not just a project manager; you’re a problem solver.
- You’re curious – Always learning, always improving.
- You embrace challenges – The tricky stuff excites you.
- You thrive in a collaborative, fun environment – Work hard, but enjoy the journey.
- You are values led – At Sensei, we actively live our values every day and are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.

If you’re passionate about project management and helping clients improve the way they work, we’d love to hear from you!
