The Vineyard

Banksdale Vineyard is a spectacular 121.5-hectare vineyard located in the renowned King Valley wine region of Northeast Victoria. Situated at an elevation of 450 metres and approximately 35 km south of Wangaratta and 40 km east of Benalla, the vineyard predominantly grows the Prosecco variety. We are committed to continuous improvement in quality, productivity and sustainability, with a strong focus on the long-term health and performance of our vineyard.

About the Role





- Perform a variety of vineyard operations in line with seasonal requirements.
- Operate tractors, All-terrain vehicles (ATV) and specialised vineyard machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct spraying, slashing, trimming and harvesting activities.
- Undertake vine training, pruning, canopy and foliage management activities.
- Assist with the establishment of current vineyard plantings, including site preparation, planting and grafting.
- Maintain irrigation, trellis systems and other vineyard infrastructure.
- Carry out routine maintenance and care of machinery and equipment.
- Assist with general vineyard and grounds maintenance to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Support sustainable vineyard management practices and quality standards.
- Contribute to the ongoing development, care and productivity of the vineyard.

About You

- Extensive experience operating tractors, agricultural machinery and implements, including over-row sprayers and harvesters.
- Previous experience in viticulture is highly regarded; experience in agriculture, horticulture or related industries will also be considered.




- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual labour in an outdoor environment.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to workplace interactions.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Adaptable, reliable and able to learn new tasks quickly.
- Enjoy working outdoors, with an interest in viticulture and vineyard operations.
- Current driver's licence and any relevant machinery or operational licences.
