About the Opportunity
This is a full-time position offering an chance to play a key role in supporting our growing organisation. Reporting directly to the Company Director, you’ll provide essential HR, IR and document control support across the organisation.
Your ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism, confidentiality and precision will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
As our new HR Officer, your day-to-day may include:
- Delivering timely and accurate advice on HR, Fair Work and IR matters
- Drafting employment contracts and managing onboarding documentation
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employment records and HR systems
- Managing and maintaining organisational document control systems
- Ensuring documents are accurately named, version-controlled, filed and securely stored
- Monitoring document expiry dates and coordinating timely updates and renewals
- Maintaining controlled copies of HR policies, procedures,
forms and templates
- Ensuring staff have access to current and approved documentation
- Leading the Employee Rewards & Recognition program
- Managing offboarding processes and collating exit data
- Reviewing and drafting HR and WHS policies to ensure compliance
- Supporting probation and performance reviews
- Creating and updating Position Descriptions
- Coordinating inductions for new staff across locations
- Facilitating EAP access and promoting staff wellbeing
- Contributing to organisational projects and strategic initiatives
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking someone with:
- At least 4 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Experience in document control, records management or compliance administration
- HR qualifications or tertiary studies (highly regarded)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and NDIS Orientation Module
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
- Strong organisational and document management skills
- The ability to multitask, prioritise competing demands and manage your own time effectively
- A collaborative and professional attitude
- A genuine desire to support employees and contribute to a positive workplace
