Junior Property Manager | Richmond | $65,000 –$70,000 + Super

$65K–$70K + Super | Training & Career Progression | Supportive, Long-Standing Team

Looking to take the next step in your real estate career and manage a portfolio of your own?

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Junior Property Manager to join a highly regarded, close-knit real estate office in Richmond.

This role would suit an Assistant Property Manager, experienced real estate receptionist/administrator or developing Property Manager who has built a solid foundation in the industry and is ready for greater responsibility.

You'll be joining an established, low-turnover team with experienced people around you, dedicated administration and leasing support, and a genuine focus on training and long-term career progression.

Why You'll Love This Role

- $65,000–$70,000 + Super, depending on experience
- Opportunity to step up and take ownership of your own portfolio
- Dedicated administration and leasing support
- Structured training and ongoing development
- Support from experienced Property Management leadership
- Close-knit, respectful and genuinely supportive team
- Low staff turnover and solid employee longevity
- Established Richmond office
- Clear opportunity to develop into an accomplished Property Manager
- Join a business that invests in its people for the long term

The Opportunity

You won't be expected to know everything from day one.

This position has been designed for someone who has already gained exposure to real estate or Property Management and is now ready to take the next step with the right training and support around them.

You'll gradually take ownership of a residential portfolio while working alongside an experienced Property Management team, giving you the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, confidence and client relationship skills.
As your experience grows, so will your level of responsibility.

Your Responsibilities

Depending on your current experience, you'll develop across:

- Day-to-day management of a residential portfolio
- Building relationships with rental providers and renters
- Coordinating maintenance and liaising with trades
- Entry, routine and exit inspections
- Lease renewals and rent reviews
- Arrears management
- Learning to manage tenancy matters and VCAT processes
- Ensuring compliance with Victorian tenancy legislation
- Working closely with administration and leasing support
- Developing the skills to confidently manage a portfolio independently

About You

We're less concerned with finding someone who already knows everything and more interested in finding the right person with a strong foundation, attitude and desire to develop.

You may currently be working as a:

- Assistant Property Manager

- Junior Property Manager
- Leasing Consultant
- Real Estate Receptionist / Administrator ready to progress

You'll ideally bring:

- Previous experience within residential real estate or Property Management
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career in Property Management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude
- Confidence taking on greater responsibility as you develop
- Willingness to learn and take feedback from experienced colleagues
- Victorian real estate qualification / Agent's Representative credentials
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

Experience with PropertyMe, Inspection Express or Ignite would be advantageous but isn't essential.

Build Your Property Management Career For someone early in their career, the office you learn in matters.

This is an opportunity to develop within a stable, experienced team where people are supported to grow rather than simply being handed a portfolio and expected to figure it out.

You'll receive the training, systems and support to develop your skills while progressively taking greater ownership of your role.

If you're currently in an Assistant PM, leasing, reception or junior real estate position and feel ready for your next step into Property Management, we'd love to hear from you.
