We are currently recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers for ongoing casual positions with work based in Somerton, Northern Suburbs of Melbourne for a high-profile customer.

We are looking for experienced and reliable forklift operators who are confident operating both Counterbalance and High Reach forklifts. This is an excellent opportunity for people looking for regular ongoing work in a busy warehouse and distribution environment.

THE ROLE

As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock, pallets and materials throughout the warehouse and loading areas. You will be working as part of a team and will be expected to maintain a high standard of safety, accuracy, and productivity throughout your shift.

Your duties may include:

· Operating Counterbalance forklifts to load and unload trucks

· Operating High Reach forklifts to move and store pallets in warehouse racking

· Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries

· Moving pallets and stock safely throughout the warehouse

· Putting stock away into designated racking locations

· Retrieving pallets and preparing stock for dispatch

· Assisting with picking and packing when required

· Checking stock and pallets for damage

· Ensuring products are moved and stored correctly

· Following warehouse procedures and supervisor instructions

· Maintaining accurate stock movement where required

· Keeping work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards

· Following all workplace health and safety requirements

· Working safely around pedestrians,



trucks and other warehouse equipment

· Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are seeking applicants who have demonstrated experience in a warehouse or distribution environment and are confident operating both Counterbalance and High Reach forklifts.

To be considered for the position, you will need:

· A current and valid Australian Forklift License

· Recent and relevant Counterbalance forklift experience

· Recent and relevant High Reach forklift experience

· Must provide a explicit police check

· Must be able to work either day or afternoon shift

· Must have a car

· Good understanding of forklift and warehouse safety

· Ability to safely load, unload and move pallets

· Ability to work at heights when operating High Reach equipment

· Good attention to detail

· Ability to follow procedures and instructions

· Reliable transport to and from Somerton

· Good attendance and punctuality

· A strong work ethic and positive attitude
