This is an excellent opportunity for a technically astute accountant looking for their first move into commerce, or a strong Financial Accountant looking to expand their expertise beyond traditional financial accounting in a global, ASX listed organisation.

Offering a blend of capital accounting, forecasting and reporting, you will be offered significant exposure across the business and the prospect to influence key investment decisions relating to projects and capital allocation.

Reporting to the Manager of Financial Accounting, you'll take the lead in supporting the organisation's capital investments through accurate reporting, forecasting, governance and analysis. Working closely with stakeholders across finance and operations, you'll help drive informed decision-making, improve reporting processes and ensure strong financial control over capital expenditure.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the capital accounting function, including capital expenditure governance, fixed assets and IFRS16.
- Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to coordinate the annual capital budgeting process and monthly forecasting.
- Deliver insightful reporting and analysis alongside commentary on performance, risks and opportunities.




- Build/maintain strong relationships across the business to improve forecast accuracy, strengthen governance and optimise capital investment.
- Support month-end, half-year and year-end reporting requirements, including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset reporting and technical accounting matters.

About You:

You will be CA or CPA qualified and bring experience gained within financial accounting, audit or a similar technical accounting environment, alongside:

- Strong financial reporting and balance sheet accounting experience.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Experience with fixed assets, capital accounting or IFRS16 (highly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
- The ability to build effective relationships and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
