We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to support the continued growth of the business by helping optimise the broker pipeline, identify opportunities within the existing client book, improve conversion and create greater structure across business development initiatives.

This is an office-based Melbourne CBD role, suited to someone with experience within the mortgage broking industry who understands broker workflows, lending pipelines and what it takes to create momentum and growth within a brokerage.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Taking a proactive approach to pipeline management and identifying opportunities to improve conversion

- Identifying opportunities within the existing client book, including back-book calling and re-engagement campaigns

- Working closely with brokers to help optimise their pipelines and maximise opportunities

- Providing coaching, guidance and support to brokers to help improve performance and outcomes

- Coordinating client engagement, back-book and business development campaigns

- Working alongside the marketing team to coordinate and implement marketing initiatives

- Identifying opportunities to improve processes,



structure and consistency across the business

- Monitoring pipeline trends and providing insights to leadership

- Helping create greater momentum around business growth and development

- Supporting brokers and the broader team to achieve business goals

About You

- Previous experience within the mortgage broking industry is essential

- Strong understanding of broker workflows, lending pipelines and the broader broking environment

- Experience managing or supporting a sales or lending pipeline

- Commercially minded with a strong focus on growth and client outcomes

- Confident working with brokers and providing coaching and guidance

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Proactive, energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- A natural problem solver who enjoys creating structure and improving processes
