**The Role:**
In this volunteer role, you’ll be paired with a senior to provide regular social support visits in their home. Activities are guided by shared interests and may include conversation, listening to music, playing board games or simply enjoying a relaxed chat. Visits are approximately 2 hours and focused on building trust, confidence and companionship.

**Our Client:**
You’ll be supporting a female in her 80s who lives on the same property as her daughter and granddaughter. However they are looking to connect with people in their local area. They are an avid sports fan of netball and football. They also enjoy bingo and going out for a coffee.
Come visit them in their home for a weekly visit for a cuppa and chat.

**About You:**




* Lives in and around Lara or is happy to travel.
* Possess clear communication skills.
* Compassionate, patient and an excellent listener.
* Passionate about giving back to your community.
* Conducts yourself with open-mindedness and respect, ensuring the privacy, confidentiality, and dignity of our clients is always maintained.
* Comfortable using technology to provide feedback and connect with the Volunteer Program.
* Availability for a versatile six-month commitment.

**Time Commitment:**
2 hour per week or fortnight, Monday – Friday between 9:00 – 5:00pm.
