We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Area Manager - Residential Aged Care (RAC) to join our team in Hume, VIC, Gippsland, VIC or New England, NSW region on a full-time permanent basis. As a Service Area Manager, you will provide leadership, supervision, support and mentoring to the RAC Funding Assessment workforce, ensuring the effective implementation and operational delivery within the Residential Aged Care Assessment service and in accordance with Aspire4Life's values, quality frameworks, and applicable legislative obligations.

The role:
- Lead by example, embodying the values and positively driving strategic transformation.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the RAC Funding Assessment workforce, including workforce planning, quality assurance,
performance management & monitoring, and service delivery.
- Lead the review and enhancement of quality management systems and processes.
- Collaborate with our leaders and support teams to develop reports, interpret, and analyse data, categorise risk, develop, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Create strong regional networks of internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete all external and internal reporting requirements.
- Motivate, support, and develop RAC Funding Assessment workforce.
About you:
- Previous experience in people management and leadership (ideally managing remote teams)
- Experience supporting a mobile case management, care planning or assessment service workforce.
- Previous experience working in an aged and/or community care setting with a demonstrated understanding and ability to maintain knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Experience working towards and achieving contractual KPI and quality outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build positive relationships.
- High-level computer skills (Windows and Microsoft Office) with the ability to problem solve system interruptions with ease.
What to bring?
- Tertiary qualified Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist with current AHPRA Registration.
- 5+ years of Strategic and Operational Leadership experience.
- Unrestricted Australian driver's licence.
- Evidence of an influenza vaccination for the most current influenza season (and ongoing as and when available and directed).
- Tertiary qualifications in Leadership, Business Management, Frontline Management (or similar) is desirable.
